The state police have arrested a Lincoln High School teacher and charged him with displaying obscene material to a minor.
Troopers say Thomas Price, 42 of Shinnston, sent a boy text messages describing sex acts he wanted to participate in with the boy.
Police also say he sent the boy links to pornographic websites.
According to the criminal complaint, the alleged offenses happened between January and August 2008.
There is no word if the boy was one of Price's students or if any of the alleged crimes happened at school. Investigators confiscated Price's computer and cell phone. He faces two felony counts of displaying and distributing obscene matter to a minor. Price is being held on a $100,000 bond.

The former dean of students at Green Bank Elementary/Middle School was found guilty Thursday of two counts of sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust. Glen Wade, 57, could spend up to 20 years in a state penitentiary and be fined as much as $10,000.
He was originally charged with four counts of the same offense. Jurors convicted him on counts one and four of the indictment, while finding him not guilty of counts two and three.
The relationship between Wade and a then-16-year-old student at Pocahontas County High School is said to have gone on between December 2005 and February 2006, according to court documents. Defense attorney Paul Detch maintained that Wade was not in a position of trust because the girl did not attend the school where he worked and had reached the age of consent in West Virginia.
